Directories! Once the backbone of internet marketing, the 2000s were the heyday of bulk directory submissions. Nowadays the use of a directory listing may have waned, but there are still thousands of such sites out there, and this doesn't mean we can't leverage the platforms in different ways to get our links.

This package of engines targets various platforms allowing web directory or classified ads functionality. We don't go the route of submitting to directory listings themselves, as that method is dated, usually requires payment and admin approval, and has a low approval rate. So for this Directories Package we target platforms that allow some sort of profile functionality. The package consists of 5 different engines.

Engine Details

Classiads - This platform is a Wordpress theme that allows a webmaster to build any kind of classified site like Gumtree or Yellow Pages. Most will allow some sort of user description on profiles, whereas the vector we use to post links is as generic social media icons.

Classiera - Classiera is another Wordpress theme allowing creation of premium classified ads sites. Again we build profiles here, but these profiles can include links in the description body.

Directorist - Directorist is 'the most complete Wordpress directory plugin' and is used on many different types of directory sites. As with the previous engines, we create a profile where possible, and post links in the profile description body.

ListingPro - ListingPro is another Wordpress theme offering an 'end-to-end directory builder' and is a #1 best seller on Envato marketplaces. Again we leverage social media icon fields to post our links.

QuickAd - QuickAd is a Laravel PHP classifieds script offering easy access to an online classified ads business. We sign up for accounts, and post an article on our profile page, along with links in the body.
